The 4th PZU Cracovia Royal Half Marathon: presenting the race course
We know the course of the 4th PZU Cracovia Royal Half Marathon, which is going to take place on October 15. For the third time, the finish line will be located inside the TAURON Arena Kraków.
The planned location of the starting line is on Lema Street, in front of the largest and the most innovative sports and entertainment complex in Poland, which will also serve as the heart of the event.
Due to the ongoing roadworks on Basztowa Street, as well as tram track renovations, which caused changes in public transport organisation, we had to introduce some changes to the course of the last year’s edition, since we needed to avoid the intersection of Grodzka Street and Wszystkich Swietych Square, as well as Piłsudskiego Street.
The detailed description of the route and the map can be found HERE.
The participants of the 4th PZU Cracovia Royal Half Marathon will see more than just monuments like the Wawel Castle and historic sacred buildings, such as the Church on the Rock, as Krakow will welcome them with the most modern and spectacular venues and buildings. Apart from the TAURON Arena Kraków, the course will also let them see the ICE Krakow Congress Centre and Father Bernatek Footbridge.
The course was measured and certified by Marek Tokarczyk, official representative of the Polish Association of Athletics (PZLA).
Less than a month is left before the race and there are over 9500 runners signed up for the event, 8000 of whom already paid their registration fee.
We encourage you to experience this unforgettable finish among thousands of other runners inside TAURON Arena Krakow. We would also like to remind you that the list of participants will be closed at the point of assigning bib number 10000 after payments have been made by 10000 competitors. Don’t wait for the last minute!
