Route of the 10th Cracovia Royal Half Marathon
In less than two months, the jubilee 10th Cracovia Royal Half Marathon awaits us. On 20 October, crowds of runners will take over Kraków. We present the route they will overcome facing the distance of 21.0975 km.
Start at 10:00 a.m., traditionally from Lema Street - in front of TAURON Arena Kraków. Despite the need to adapt the route to the ongoing renovations in the city, there is still no shortage of historical monuments and picturesque streets and promenades of Kraków along the way.
During the 10th Cracovia Royal Half Marathon runners will see the Wawel Royal Castle from practically every side, historical sacred buildings - such as the churches of St. Apostles Peter and Paul, St. Andrew, St. Bernardine of Siena, Na Skałce - and others. They will also see modern, characteristic for our city objects - apart from TAURON Arena Kraków, such as Cricoteka, Father L. Bernatek's Footbridge, ICE Kraków Congress Centre Manggha Museum of Japanese Art and Technology. Covering a distance of 21.0975 km, competitors of the run will also see Kraków's largest sports venues - apart from, of course, TAURON Arena Kraków, the Henryk Reyman and Cracovia Municipal Stadiums, the 100th Anniversary Hall of KS Cracovia together with the Sports Centre for the Disabled.
An additional attraction is invariably the finish in the shine of the lights in the dimmed largest sports and entertainment hall in Poland! Runners from all over the world testify that such a finish, with the cheering of fans gathered in the arena, is a real treat and an injection of endorphins. TAURON Arena Kraków will also once again be the base of the event - the Competition Office, changing rooms and deposit will be located there.
The route of the 10th Cracovia Royal Half Marathon is certified by World Athletics (formerly IAAF) and AIMS.
